The patented Key2 Secure Remote Management appliance (SRMa)™ provides a centrally authenticated, encrypted, IPSec, dual-pathed communication capability for the remote management of network devices.   The Key2 SRMa™ architecture eliminates the use of long lists of passwords known to present and past employees and consultants. DNS Routing

The Key2 SRMa will route DNS or any other configured protocol over the back-up Out-of-Band communication path. The architectural configuration of most federal networks is to centralize the DNS service for cost and security reasons. When the in-band path is broken islands of the network could develop stopping communications internally until the in-band data path is restored. The Key2 SRMa will route DNS traffic over the back-up out-of-band communication channel preventing the problem of isolated islands from developing.

Eliminate Password Lists Known to All
